Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul, South Korea

A friend planning to visit Korea asked me.

"Dadalhin mo ako sa Namsangol Hanok Village kuya?"

"Doon tayo sa massage na may extra service" I said.

"Gusto ko sa lugar na nakakatanggal ng stress"

"Ok, doon tayo sa massage na may extra service at nakakatanggal ng stress"

Gyeongbokgung Palace has the title of "The Grandest Palace in South Korea". According to the site "Korea be Inspired", it was built in 1395 and is commonly referred to as "The Northern Palace" because it is situated further North of South Korea... like the east of the west... the right of the left... or top of the bottom... whatever heheh.

Aside from the architectural view of the palace, you will also have the chance to witness the "Changing of the Guards Ceremony". It is like an organized march to change the guards at the gate. You will see this event from 10AM to 3PM and will be done three times a day.

The Grandest Gyeongbokgung Palace stands side by side with the modern buildings and busy streets of South Korea. A subway below and fast moving cars outside, Korean culture remains truimphant in the fight against modernization and globalization.

Admission fee are 3,000 Korean Won for Adults (2,400 Korean Won for a group of 10). For children, the fee is 1,500 Korean Won (1,200 Korean Won for a group of 10).
